A reference to Japanese architect Kenzo Tange’s 1960 published notes on the planning of Tokyo, A Plan For Tokyo draws on several oblique narratives. Architecture, the still life and skateboarding all match off against each other to form an implicit view of Japan.

The ‘Storm and the Stress’ collection is an amalgamation of a range of influences resulting in the creation of an ideal expression of youth. The Spring Summer 2009 collection combines history & myths within the parametres of military ideologies and references. The clothing is an actuality, a proposal for a uniform to outfit a conceptual regiment.
The result takes cues from early cavalry units and regiments from various European forces blending these into a uniform; Blues and Greys; colours mimicking the horizon line; midnights blues and whites plus regimental colours.
Available now in the online store is a selection from the new collection. Click here to view.
25.02.09
The first delivery for the online store is the Rittenhouse Spring Summer 2009 collection.
Renown for producing understated garments with a subtle twist, Rittenhouse most always apply hidden intricacies to each style, and this collection is no exception, with subtle touches of luxury and adding extra attention to quiet details.
Available in the online store are t shirts, cotton silk knitwear (highlight piece is the striped cotton sweater), military inspired shorts, check shirting and the ol’ faithful button hoody.
